60 Caledon avenue, hamilton, ontario

about us

Our Vision for 60 Caledon Avenue is to deliver a safe and sustainable development which provides good homes to families for generations to come.

Our mission is to address the City of Hamilton’s critical need for affordable housing through the creation of an environmentally sustainable, safe, and age-friendly community which adds social and economic value to the Yeoville neighbourhood.

Caledon Community Collaborative was formed by Hamilton East Kiwanis Non-Profit Homes Inc. (HEK) and Victoria Park Community Homes (VPCH) to respond to the City of Hamilton’s call for offers on 60 Caledon Avenue. The City made the surplus school lands available for purchase for the purposes of developing a mixed income residential development.

As the successful proponents, VPCH and HEK bring a long history of developing and managing successful family-oriented communities. As the two largest private non-profit housing providers in Hamilton, HEK and VPCH come to 60 Caledon with nearly a century of experience serving over 3000 households, including in Ward 8.
